What Happens on a Professional Scrum Master Course?

This course is a combination of instruction and team-based exercises, and teaches what is at the heart of the Scrum and Agile movement. The course also includes a free attempt at the globally recognized Professional Scrum Master I certification exam (PSM I).

Assesment Certification

All participants completing the Professional Scrum Master course will receive a password to attempt the PSM I assessment, and are also entitled to a discount on the PSM II and PSM III assessments. The industry-recognized PSM certifications require a minimum passing score on these rigorous assessment

This module looks to gain and understanding of complexity in software environments How empiricism controls risk, and provides predictability in complex environments.

THE SCRUM FRAMEWORK

This module introduced the Scrum Framework and sees that each part of Scrum ties back to the principles and theory, while exposing waste.

THE DEFINTION OF DONE

This module demonstrates the importance of “Done” and how it affects our ability to deliver new functionality.

RUNNING A SCRUM PROJECT

This module helps to understand how to organize Product Backlog; Understand the steps of running a Scrum project; Practical tips to deal with estimates and value on a Product Backlog.

WORKING WITH PEOPLE AND TEAMS

This module helps the delegates to understand how Scrum Teams are formed and become effective and the productivity and creativity that can be gained through self-organization.

SCRUM IN YOUR ORGANISATION

This module looks at how the role of the Scrum Master encourages and supports the organisation when using the Scrum Framework.
